LURE in Glen Ellyn represents a new standard in high-end salon suite interior design, where architecture, functionality, and refined aesthetics come together to create a premium environment for beauty professionals and their clients. Designed and executed by Perpetuum Designs, this project redefines what a modern salon concept can look and feel like—elevated, calm, sophisticated, and intentionally crafted for both experience and performance.

This space was envisioned as more than a salon. It was designed as a luxury commercial environment where independent beauty professionals can operate in private, beautifully curated suites while clients experience comfort, privacy, and a sense of exclusivity from the moment they walk in.

A High-End Salon Concept Built on Design Strategy

The design approach focused on creating a seamless balance between luxury hospitality design principles and commercial functionality. Every zone within LURE was intentionally planned to support workflow efficiency, visual cohesion, and long-term durability—without sacrificing elegance.

The overall aesthetic blends warm neutral tones, natural materials, architectural wood elements, and modern black steel accents, creating a timeless foundation that feels refined rather than trendy. Soft beige and sand-colored surfaces are layered with textured finishes, custom millwork, and architectural lighting to deliver a calm, upscale atmosphere that immediately sets the tone for a premium client experience.

Custom Architectural Elements

A defining feature of the project is the integration of custom-designed architectural elements, including:

  • Sculptural 3D wall features with integrated LED lighting

  • Curved architectural forms that soften transitions between spaces

  • Custom ceiling structures with layered wood detailing

  • Floating wall panels and textured surfaces that add depth and dimension

  • Bespoke millwork and built-in features designed specifically for the space

Lighting as a Design Feature

Lighting plays a central role in the identity of LURE. The project uses a layered lighting strategy that includes:

  • Architectural ceiling lighting

  • Decorative pendant fixtures

Material Selection & Sustainability

Materiality was a core design focus. The space incorporates sustainable, durable, and low-maintenance materials selected for longevity, performance, and environmental responsibility. From flooring systems to wall finishes and custom millwork, every material was chosen to support both aesthetics and long-term commercial use.
