Bambu - Uptown, Chicago

Bambu was one of our most detail-oriented projects this spring—a modern boba café where craftsmanship meets concept. As the interior design studio behind this space, we brought together rich textures, bold finishes, and high-performance materials to create a visually memorable and highly functional café environment.

This space reflects everything we stand for as an interior design studio: elevated hospitality interiors, tailored to the brand, with no shortcuts on quality. From the beginning, this was a fully custom build. We designed bespoke wall-covering patterns, selected artisanal wood finishes, and developed a layout that supports both speed of service and a relaxed guest experience.

We worked closely with the owners to create a unique interior that would feel fresh, welcoming, and visually memorable. Every element was tailored—from the custom tile selections that anchor the space, to the warm wood details that add softness and depth. The design balances natural textures with bold, clean lines, creating a space that feels both calming and current.

This wasn't a plug-and-play design. Our team handled everything from the space planning to the lighting details, ensuring that every corner of the café feels intentional. The combination of organic materials and modern lines gives Bambu its signature look—inviting, fresh, and unmistakably branded.
