Adjusted Health + Performance - Tinley Park

We believe that wellness spaces deserve the same level of design intention and sophistication as any high-end hospitality environment. Our work on Adjusted Health + Performance, a modern chiropractic office in Illinois, reflects that belief fully. This project challenged us to move beyond sterile medical aesthetics and create something bold, inviting, and built to stand the test of time.

From the beginning, our goal was to redefine the patient experience through interior design—merging functional layout with strong visual identity. The atmosphere is dark, modern, and confident, layered with rich textures and lighting elements that set the tone from the moment someone walks in.

We started with the layout, creating a spatial rhythm that supports the practice’s flow—from reception and waiting, through treatment areas, to the back of the space. Each zone was individually defined using custom LED lighting, carefully recessed and angled to highlight movement, provide comfort, and give each treatment area a sense of privacy without physical walls.

Custom millwork was a foundational element—crafted to be both durable and visually seamless. Every cabinet, treatment station, and reception counter was designed with functionality and elegance in mind. We paired this with a curated selection of wall treatments and textures, including striking wallpaper that adds depth and warmth to the darker tones of the overall palette.

Lighting was treated as architecture. Instead of relying on basic overhead solutions, we integrated layers of light throughout the space—from built-in cove lights to feature lighting that softly accentuates the textures and finishes. This creates an environment that feels carefully lit rather than artificially bright, perfect for a space rooted in physical care and restoration.

At the very end of the spatial journey, we designed a daring restroom that echoes the strength of the brand identity. Deep hues, custom fixtures, and unexpected finishes make it a bold and memorable finale to the space. It proves that no detail is too small to deserve good design.
